Major and Minor Declarations

Students who wish to declare a major or minor will need to complete a Google form. We have one form per declaration type:

Some departments have specific requirements that must be met before students can declare. This information is listed on the declaring a major or minor page for students.

After a student submits a form to declare a major or minor, the Registrar’s Office will print the submission and send it to your department via campus mail. There will be space at the bottom of the sheet for the chairperson signature, date and the name of the advisor you are assigning. You can mail the form back to us or email it to declarationforms@hope.edu.

If a student wants to undeclare, we will print the submission and process it in our system. Then we will mark it as complete on the printed submission and mail it to you for your records.
