The college's dining halls will host a Latino Food Festival on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
There will be different foods from Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Peru. There will be music and dance performances during the meal.
The festival has been scheduled in conjunction with National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is running Thursday, Sept. 15, through Saturday, Oct. 15.
The Cook dining hall will be open from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the Phelps dining hall will be open from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. For those not on meal plan, admission will be $5, payable at the door.
Cook Hall is located at 115 E. 10th St., on 10th Street between College and Columbia avenues. Phelps Hall is located at 154 E. 10th St., on Columbia Avenue at 10th Street.
