Pre-College Conference

Beginning in fall 2025, the Pre-College Conference will be held on the first Monday on or after August 15. These adjustments reflect our shared desire to make this event as accessible, inclusive and impactful as possible for all colleagues, while also simplifying the overall experience. This decision was made in response to evolving needs and feedback and was approved by the Academic Affairs Board at their October meeting.

On August 18, we will begin the Pre-College Conference with a worship service led by Campus Ministries, followed by fellowship at the Jack Miller Center prior to the president’s address. The day will end with the opportunity for lunch with colleagues. The provost’s address on Tuesday morning will conclude the Pre-College Conference.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to wear their Hope College name tag to all events.

  • Very pale colors tend to wash out on the soft gray background. You may wish to wear a little color to look your very best!
  • Those with transitions-type lenses in their glasses may need to allow an extra few minutes for their lenses to return to their non-darkened state.
