36 Higher Education Leaders to Convene in the Nation’s Capital for the Executive Leadership Academy
The Council of Independent CollegesProvost Gerald Griffin was one of the 36 higher education leaders that took part in the program that prepares experienced provosts and vice presidents as the next generation of college and university presidents.
First Students Graduating from Hope-Western Prison Education Program
The Hope-Western Prison Education Program will hold its first Commencement on Wednesday, June 25, celebrating the graduation of nine men who have earned degrees while incarcerated at Muskegon Correctional Facility.
Carrie Bredow Participates in NetVUE Teaching Vocational Exploration Seminar
Dr. Carrie Bredow, associate professor of psychology, was selected to participate in the 2025 Teaching Vocational Exploration Seminar offered by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) through its Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE). The seminar took place on Monday-Friday, June 2–6, at The Alexander in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Hope Hosts NetVUE Conference on “Integrating Vocation in the Academic Disciplines”
College leaders from around the country, and one from England, gathered at Hope College for a conference on a topic central to the Hope way of preparing students for life and career: “Integrating Vocation in the Academic Disciplines.”

Spring 2025 Dean's List Announced
The Registrar’s Office is pleased to announce Dean’s List recipients for the spring semester. The Dean’s List is awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who have received grades for all courses in a given semester (no incompletes) and have a semester GPA of 3.50 or above. Hope College Registrar’s Office considers this a significant achievement. This list is complete as of June 9, 2021. Students who receive grade changes after this date that result in being added to the Dean’s List do not appear on this list. This list also does not include students who have requested confidentiality of their information under FERPA. Names are listed below in alphabetical order by last name.
