Hope College is about to begin its 164th academic year, with 857 new members of the incoming Class of 2029 who arrived on Thursday, Aug. 21 for new student orientation.

Hope College’s Center for Leadership is hosting its “Lead With Hope” leadership retreat October 5-7 at its campus in Holland. Registration is due by Sept. 4 and will be limited to 15 attendees.

Hope College is about to begin its 164th academic year, with 857 new members of the incoming Class of 2029 arriving on Thursday, Aug. 21 for new student orientation. The remaining students will return on Saturday, Aug. 23 – ready to start the new fall semester on Monday, Aug. 25.

This fall, Hope will welcome 123 incoming students with generational ties. From mothers and fathers to great-great-grandparents, these students will follow in the footsteps of the many family members who have graduated from Hope College before them.
